  • Photo Challenge: rebirth

Okay, I really only thought of one type of subject for this challenge...and stuck with it. I'm sorry if it's boring, but it's all i could come up with.

my green onions coming back after a long winter

    little yellow ground cover

daffodil (sorry, can't seem to rotate the pic)

  • Photo Challenge: 5 Favorite Things

This week's challenge made me run around taking pictures virtually the minute I read it. It's a good thing I did, because I hadn't thought again about it much until today. Not pictured in this challenge...food! I do love food, but since we did food a few weeks ago, I chose to exclude it. Here are my entries:

    the love of my life

    my boys

    my girls

    our computer

and last, but not least...my camera.

  • Photo Challenge: Disorder

Okay, the first thing I wanted to do is run to my family room when I heard the topic for this week. I mean, who has a husband, four kids, a dog and two cats and no DISORDER. But that seemed too obvious. Nothing like challenging the challenge. I just couldn't bring myself to photograph the big pile of toys in the middle of the room--although I assure you it's there. So, I tried to think of it in another way. DISorder or non-order. Here is my photographic "take" on disorder.

a non-working outlet in the garage

a crushed fender (that sits in our driveway)

    out of order alphabet

    chairs turned upside down.

    a non-functioning tire

and finally, a disconnected light plug

Hope that's what the "powers that be" were looking for. I'm gonna go check everyone else's interpretations.

  • photo challenge: "the weekend"

we're a dull people--always working around the house on saturday. we had four kids so just so that rich and i wouldn't always be the ones doing the work :) faith is a "faithful" worker--she never stops! little rich was in charge of watching christopher and marisa got out of it all since she was at a friend's house. (her day will come.)

she's cute, but absolutely NO help in the yard.

    there's my worker back there.

if lucy had a bubble above her head it would say, "DROP IT!"

what is this thing? root or leaf? hmm.
